Quick Tip Tuesday!

Today is QUICK TIP TUESDAY! Today is the first time doing a quick tip Tuesday, but we thought that this would be fun to do. We will be telling you some tips we learned and things we do when it comes to makeup and hair. They have helped us and we hope they help you!

Today's quick tip has to do with lipstick. Fall is around the corner and bold lips will soon be the only lips we wear. Nothing like a nice red or cranberry lip for fall, but no one likes a lipstick that bleeds or fades.

For my red lip I start with a liner. Especially with a bold lip, liner is a must because it  helps the lipstick not bleed. After my liner I will apply my lipstick. Once you lipstick is on and you are happy with it, you will need two things a tissue and  powder (I prefer translucent powder). Although translucent powder is the better option for doing this I have used my compact powder, but keep in mind my compact powder is pretty light.

So to begin...
  1. Take a tissue and remove one layer..
  2. Take your tissue and put it over your lips (Don't fold the tissue)
  3. Taking your brush get some of the powder.
  4. Now brush the powder over your lips.
  5. You're done!

The powder will set your lips, letting you have longer wear time and prevents the lipstick from bleeding. This tip has helped me so much! I am a red lip junkie and this quick tip has made wearing red lipstick easier. This tip can be used for any lip color. One more tip, to make your lips look flawless take a concealer and clean up the edges of your lips.

Kisses ❤️

Night Out!

This glittered smoky eye is perfect for a night out. I opted for a red lip, but you can do almost any lip color with this look. If you wanted to tone it down you could do a nude lip or just gloss on your natural lip to keep the focus on the eye

Neutral/Everyday

Nothing like a nude lip!

Pretty In Pink!

How To Get The Look!

1. First thing first to start off the eyes we want to start with a primer. You can use your concealer or an eye primer like the one I used. I used the L.A Girl Pro Primer in Nude.

2. After applying your primer of choice I like to put my brow highlight. I use the L.A Colors eyeshadow in white.

3. From here you put your crease color. For my crease color I used a BH Cosmetics pink from there 120 1st edition palette.

4. Before applying my lid color I applied e.l.f’s Glitter primer (optional)  to enhance the color and from the same BH palette I used a darker pink.

5. I wanted a more intense pink so I opted to add some of NYX’s pigment in Very Pink Pearl. This part is completely optional.

6. Now we are going to add a liner to the lid to help make your lashes look fuller and for those adding lashes, this will help blend them in. You can use any liner of your choice from pencil, liquid, to gel. I used a gel liner by BH in the color Onyx. You can wing out the liner but I chose not to, to keep the look focused on the pink and lashes. At this time you can tight-line your upper and lower water line.

7. At this point you can add you mascara and leave it as is, but I chose to add lashes. I went with Red Cherries #43. I love these lashes and they blend in so nice! So curl your lashes and apply your mascara. If you are wearing lashes after applying your glue a quick tip is to let it sit for 30 seconds to a minute for it to get tacky. Trust me it works much better this way.
8. Now you are done with the eyes!! After this you can finish your face or move on to lips. For my lips I went with a subtle lip. I used Make Up Forever’s lipstick in Rouge/N9 and topped it with L’oreal’s lip gloss in 189/ Pink Rebellion.
